Where’s El Lobo? One Week Down, One to Go.

Update from Defenders of Wildlife:

Hey Tucson!  We’ve had some great feedback about the Where’s El Lobo? contest and the fun you’ve had finding some of the 50 art piece silhouettes that we’ve placed all around the city.  There is only a little over a week left until the contest ends on September 17th so use some free time this [week] to head out and search for el lobos.

The Tucson lobos, displayed on the outside of buildings all over the city, represent the 50 wolves now living in the wild in Arizona and New Mexico and could be your ticket to winning the Grand Prize — an Apache Wilderness Journey for two, a once- in-a-lifetime opportunity to immerse yourself in Apache culture and a chance to see Mexican wolves in the wild — valued at  $3,000. There are many other prizes tied to how many wolves you find, and you can get hints and more information at  www.whereslobo.org.  The more you find, the better your chance of winning! You can also find daily hints for lobo locations on the Defenders Facebook page.

Thanks for helping us welcome Mexican wolves back to Tucson and the Southwest.
