WHAT: Silver City’s TrekWest Event & Reception will feature snacks and invited guest speakers from local conservation organizations and elected officials. Join us as we meet John Davis in person during his 5,000-mile human-powered journey to showcase the need for connectivity between the West’s last remaining wild places. John will describe the importance of working together to protect wildlife movement corridors linked across the continent, and highlight the details of how New Mexico’s wildlands are a critical part of a continental pathway for wildlife — the “Western Wildway.”
WHEN: Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
