Interested in supporting Mexican wolves? Would you like to see a new film that shows their journey of recovery? The Last Pack is the story of the Mexican wolf, and their current recovery in the wild. Filming is scheduled to take place later this fall/winter dependent upon funding. Alan Lacy is hoping that by producing this film, others will learn and understand these wolves and gain insights into how to coexist with them. He believes education is the key to recovery, and wants to bring their story to everyone.
“Ideally I would love to produce a full length feature on these wolves, however I believe education is the most critical component, and that’s what I intend this film to achieve.”
Currently, Alan has begun fundraising for this film using Kickstarter, an online, crowd-funding website designed to help projects like his get up off the ground. “It’s all or nothing,” says Alan regarding the funding, “and I’m giving it my all, as these wolves deserve the best effort I can give.”
When asked about the possibility of a full length documentary he says, “My priority is education and awareness, but if the right opportunities present themselves, I am most certainly open to it.” If you’d like to help, please visit http://kck.st/RTVRLx, “like” them on www.facebook.com/TheLastPack, or visit their website at www.thelastpack.org to learn more about the film.
