Hope for Wolves Rally in Flagstaff, AZ

Endangered Mexican gray wolf Hope (F2979) and her family, named the Kendrick Peak Pack, need your help! They have been peacefully roaming in the wild lands around Flagstaff, AZ, but AZGFD and USFWS may attempt to capture and relocate them because they’ve roamed north of the unscientific, politically-motivated boundary that forces lobos to remain south of Interstate-40.

We are pushing the agencies to allow these wolves to remain in the place where they’ve chosen to make their home, a place that wolves would have roamed for millennia before humans wiped them out. We have a huge opportunity to make this request at the AZGF Commission meeting this week.

Join us at 7 am on August 9, 2024 for a rally for our Flagstaff wolves.

The AZGFD Commission meeting is at Little America (Little America Hotel, 2515 E Butler Ave, Flagstaff, AZ 86004). Use your voice and tell AZGFD to leave Hope and the Kendrick Peak Pack in their new home north of the I-40!

We need wolf advocates to show up for a rally at the next Arizona Game and Fish Commission meeting on Friday, August 9th, at 7 am. Before the meeting starts we’ll be outside raising our voices for the Kendrick Peak wolves and asking the Commissioners to let the lobos stay in northern Arizona.

The building opens at 7:45 am and you can go inside to fill out a “request to speak” card for the call to the public during the first part of the meeting, which starts at 8am.
